Norfork Lake fishing and lake conditions by Scuba Steve from Blackburns Resort and Boat rental (click here for comments)

The lake level is 550.92 and has risen one foot in the last 24-hours. They started generating this morning for the first time in several days and I am surprised. I got a 51 degree water temperature in the back of the creek and over 49 on the main lake. There was some debris floating on the main lake but I saw nothing big. Mostly small twigs. The lake is brown back in the creeks and stained on the main lake and you can see your lure down about 4-feet. Blackburns had many fishermen out yesterday and they all did well. Lots of bass and crappie and some nice bluegill are showing up. I caught smallmouth, kentucky, crappie (one being very large) and bluegill. Tom Kelly did the same. The rain did not hurt the fishing any. It was good to have sunshine and warm weather again and more to come. There were many fish cleaned on the dock but mine went to the trophy pond. No waiting on Blackburns dock as we have two fish cleaning stations along with the best prices on everything. (pictures to follow later)
