You can enjoy a different dining experience every day without traveling far. Within just 10 minutes of Blackburn's, you'll find 7 fantastic restaurants to choose from. And if you’re willing to travel a little further (15-20 minutes), Mountain Home offers a variety of dining options, including some of America’s most popular fast food chains. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there’s something to suit every taste. If you'd rather cook, you can stock up at Wal-Mart Supercenter (the largest in Arkansas), which has a 24-hour grocery section. Just a few minutes further down the road is Harps, another excellent grocery store.
America's Live Music Show Capital
While not everyone chooses to make the 2.5-hour drive to Branson, Missouri, it's a trip worth considering if you enjoy live music. The drive is scenic and peaceful, and you can easily make it a day trip. Leave at 7:30 AM, catch a show, enjoy a meal, and be back by 7:30 PM. Many guests prefer staying at Blackburn's for its tranquility while still being close enough to Branson’s lively music scene. Whether you're catching a country, rock, or comedy show, Branson has something for everyone.
Ozark Folk Center & Music
Located in Mountain View, the Ozark Folk Center is a fantastic place to step back in time and experience traditional Ozark craftsmanship. Watch artisans demonstrate their skills in pottery, blacksmithing, quilting, and more. The center also offers live history performances by actors in period costumes. For music lovers, the center hosts live bluegrass and folk music performances all day in the outdoor theater, with top-tier artists performing in the 1,000-seat auditorium in the evening.
Mountain View, AR
If you're a fan of bluegrass and folk music, don’t miss Mountain View, just an hour away. Cash's Hoe-Down is the most popular show, but you'll also find many other similar performances that offer plenty of laughter, clean fun, and great entertainment. The town is also known for its excellent antique shops and native crafts, showcasing true Ozark arts. Many of our guests head to Mountain View for a show, shopping, and a meal, then return to the peace of Blackburn’s. The drive is only about 45 minutes and takes you along an Arkansas Scenic Byway, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destination!
