Over 15 lbs. won the Bassmaster Qualifier on the last day. Blackburn's guest Beau Govreau from St. Louis got 2nd place after winning the team championship with his brother Brett. Ryan Butler won. The Bassmasters play the National Anthem every day before every event and there was no setters or kneelers there. Good organization. Glad to have them. The fishing was much better Saturday after fog, late start, calm wind and cold weather hampered the day before with only 1/2 of the finalists catching fish. I will give it a try this afternoon as boat traffic is way down. Need to catch a few crappie and bass. Having withdrawals. Guests are out striper fishing this morning. We will see how they do. White bass are everywhere but they do not count.
