The lake level has dropped below 552 for the first time in a long while.  It is at 551.94 and stable with a couple of hours of generation in a 24-hour period. It starts to clear and then greens up again. It is a good color for fishing. The surface temperature is between 59 and 60. Spooning is by far the best method of catching fish in general with many fish being caught on the 1/8th and 1/4 ounce Bink's jigging spoon. Crappie, largemouth, smallmouth, Kentucky Bass are all biting. White bass are biting by the dozens but we do not count them.  The Bassmasters should do well next week. Blackburns is full for that week and we thank them. Mike Eakle, Dennis Byrd and James Soltysiac all donated fish for Tom Kelly's trophy pond and we thank them. We put in 35 keepers last evening of all varieties including one walleye. I wonder why there are more and more fishermen at the pond. I like that. The weather has been great and is to continue to be so. It is hard to believe it is almost December. Scuba Steve is catching good fish everyday. I like that too.
