Caught yesterday fishing with Bink.
The lake level is now at 566.67 and still dropping with some generation all of the time. It rained heavily for a few minutes yesterday afternoon. We received almost an inch and the creeks run. I was surprised. I went out for a few minutes yesterday and caught a few crappie near brush on the bottom at 20-feet on a minnow. No big ones. Others are catching walleye bottom bouncing night crawlers on main lake points at 20-feet. Bink is still catching stripers and some walleye together in 60-feet of water on the bottom. I could see my lure down about 5-6 feet on the main lake. Creeks are still stained. September fishing should be good. This is the coolest August that I can remember.
