The lake level is 573.30 and is exactly what it was at this time yesterday despite a thunder shower this morning. It rained hard and the creeks run for awhile. We were getting dry. I do not think I have seen things so green for this time of year. The rain varied widely but we received over 2-inches here at Blackburns. It is sunny and humid now. We got a nice shower also last evening about 5:30 PM. We have a nice, flat, big playground here and we just keep mowing. Lake views are good for people that like to sit on the porch huddled up on a hillside and drink coffee in the morning and sip wine in the afternoon. Our beautiful valley is green and big and flat and the children can run, ride their bikes and explore our 28 acres. Blackburns is the family place. All have covered porches and none are duplexes. If you smoke you can go out on the porch in the rain and not carry an umbrella or rig up your fishing poles out of the sun. It has been hot and good for boating and swimming. The lake is in excellent condition.
