Scuba Steve From Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental On Norfork Lake Arkansas Near Mountain Home in the Ozark Mountains Blog. (Click Here For Comments)

The lake level is 576.70 and is dropping about 2-inches a day with both generators running continously. We seem to be in a pattern of rain in the afternoon and fog in the morning. It cooled down quickly yesterday after the rain. We did not get much but it rained hard for a few minutes. I went  and checked out Cranfield launch yesterday and it is in good condition but with limited parking. There is still a topwater bite early but the fog makes it tough. Look for points part way back in the creeks with submerged brush and trees with a spinner bait for bass and walleye. Diamond bay and float creek are two good places to start.  We should get into the dry season in the next week or so with predominately south wind and hot temperatures. A thermocline is starting to form.
