Tom Kelly with a couple of nice ones. More too. Image title

The lake level is 576.85 and dropping a couple of inches a day with both generators running continuously. The creeks in this area are slow clearing with the changing wind directions moving debris. Some of it is sticking to the bank with the lake dropping 3-1/2 feet from it's high. It was a cool May but the temperatures are back to normal which is 81 for a high. The shad are mostly under cover of trees and brush and that is where the fish are. Tom Kelly is catching some good fish on points with covered brush and trees. Mostly walleye and bass. The catfish have slowed a bit but I am still catching some. I put two nice ones in the pond today. Surface temperature is rising with 73-76 depending on where you are. The lake is really improving they just need to lower it more to improve launching and parking. Norfork is about the best alternastive out there.
