The lake level has been the same for three days at 577.18 and the lake is clearing with much of the lake debris gone in this area but a lot is still on the bank. You can find places where the bank is clear and that is the best and easiest to fish. The Corps of Engineers are sponsoring a lake clean up next Saturday to help remove debris from launch ramps and other areas to make things good for the upcoming holiday. The surface water temperature is past the mid 70's in the creeks and rising rapidly. Things are improving rapidly. Including the fishing. Shad are in tthe creeks next to the bank as are many fish. We cannot launch here yet but there are several good places near and you can launch your boat, drive it to our dock and park your trailers in our parking and nearly step on our dock. We are opening the big pool this week after a new renovation and paint job. Norfork is in as good if not better condition than any lake in the area and Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental has no dininished services except launching and several places do not have that anyway. Catfishing could not be better.
