Two of 12 caught this morning with Bink. Catfish are still biting.
The lake level is 577.16 and has dropped about 2-1/2 inches in the last 24-hours. They have cut the spillway gates way down and are discharging the equivalent of about three generators. We have two. We are now 3-feet below the top of the gates. The White River level at Newport has also dropped to about 30-feet. Down about 4-feet. They have closed the gates at Beaver but are still discharging from Table Rock's gates and mostly holding at Bull Shoals which is in about the same condition as here. We are to get more rain Wednesday night and Thursday but the ground can take a little now with a week of drying. I will check out launch sites later today but more are open. Parking is the issue. Not much camping for a while.
