Caught this morningImage title

Get out there about 6:Am for the topwater bite part way back in the creeks. Use a clear spook if the weather is clear and the sun is coming up. Otherwise a bass assassin or white spook will work.  I am still catching smallmouth bass on main lake on grubs. Bink is really on the stripers. Blackburns has several good fishermen in now and we will see what happens. More rain is to come later this week. The lake level is stable with several hours of generation. Things are about where they should be for this time of year. Lots of crappie are under docks. Walleye and, bluegill and bass are with them. Shad are in the creeks. I caught no walleye on the flats but will try again May 1st. it is really busy here with people taking advantage of our low cabin and boat rental prices and free boat stalls. Why pay more?
