The lake level is 553.9 and has risen just a little the last few days. It is at a very good level and is in very good condition. The surface temperature is 82. The weather is to be basically clear with highs in the high 80's and lows in the mid 60's for several days. Many fish are near 30 feet as there is little oxygen below that. Louis Lattray is back and he always catches fish and is welcome. Joe Cebula is catching fish everyday day also and some good ones too. He caught about as big of crappie as I have seen out of Norfork and it has giant ones. He has donated many big fish to the trophy pond.  Fish are roaming and you cannot count on them being in the same place for very long. If they do not bite on one brush pile for a few minutes, move to another one and come back later. Bait fish are the key and they are moving too. Usually when the fish move to the brush in the fall they stay put for a long time. Not this year as it is still summer. The lake is great for boating, swimming and water sports and our pool is still open. Our rates are now $53/day for two people. Most other resorts start at $75. You can save a lot of money and have free boat stalls too. It is very nice here. Bink is back on the walleye.
