Caught this morning and more too. Image title

It has cooled off a bit with highs to be in the low 80's. My electric meter must be dizzy from running so fast. The lake is still dropping slowly with one generator running continuously. We are receiving just enough rain to keep from having to irrigate and everything is green. The lake is in excellent condition with a surface temperature near 87 which is perfect for boating and water sports. We are fortunate not to have a lot of big Queen Mary boats on Norfork and low boat traffic compared to other lakes in the Ozarks and have several swim beaches near Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental.  The thermocline has dropped to about 24-feet and there is a mud line with little visibility from there down to 30-feet. Some big fish are just below that. Bink reports early morning walleye and stripers suspended in about 60-feet of water. He found schooled walleye and caught several but I have only seen singles around brush. Call 870-499-7384 he is guarenteeing fish now. Diving conditions are good with a lot of walleye coming in compared to last year. Call Debbie at 1-800-635-0526 for cabin and boat rental reservations. We have the best prices on both and all cabins have covered porches with no duplexes and we do not charge for trolling motors on pontoons so you can fish and boat with the same boat. The 30x60 pool with slide is very busy and we are child and pet friendly. Mostly free boat stalls too.
