Norfork Lake Fishing Report By Scuba Steve From Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental On Norfork Lake Arkansas Near Mountain Home In the Ozark Mountains (Click Here for Comments)

Scuba Steve caught this one yesterday. Guess where it is now Tom.Image title

This young man looks plenty happy. Biggest fish ever. Mathew Dierker and his father Charles are here from St. Louis. Nice people.Image title

The lake is still rising slowly with one generator running and we got 0.8 inches of rain last night. It is now 554.3 and has come up about 14 inches since the last rain. The lake is still in excellent condition and everything is really growing with the moisture. The top water bite in the early AM is still the best bite and is lasting a lot longer now. A lot of fish are coming up in the Cranfield area with many large white bass. Most people are catching fish. Bink took out Charles and Mathew Dierker from St. Louis yesterday and they had a great time. Bink has about 100 trips out of Blackburns a year and almost everyone is very happy with the results. If you are new to the lake, going out with him is a good way to learn the lay of the land and how to catch Norfork lake fish. Technique is much more important than where. The Davis boys are back and we are glad to see them. They are catching fish as usual. Kent and Sheila Myers just left and we are sorry to see them go. Nice people. Bart Vandervelde is also back. He has moved to Florida and his drive is longer. He catches and releases a lot of fish on top water. We miss Carolyn. Blackburns is the fun place and we do not charge you too much. 1-800-635-0526
