The surface temperature was 60 last evening. We received about 1/2 inch of rain yesterday and it all sunk in and the lake dropped to 553.38 with one generator running continuously. The creeks are still stained a good color. Main lake is not as clear as usual. Joe Cebula is back and reports he and John Schreeves caught 16 fish after the rain ended at 11:Am all on the 1/4 ounce Bink's spoon and of several different varieties. Paul Ahrens is back but I did not get a chance to talk to him. Nice fellow. We all help each other catch fish here at Blackburns. Weather is a little cooler than normal with some rain scheduled for later in the week. Nice time to visit. Weather good and prices low. 1-800-635-0526. I will check some crappie banks to see if the males have moved in yet but will release them. The lake has been at a very stable level for several weeks making for a fairly good spawn. Good thing we have not had any big rains. Wind has finally diminished.
