Norfork Lake Fishing Report By Scuba Steve From Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental On Norfork Lake Arkansas Near Mountain Home In the Ozark Mountains (Click Here for Comments)

If you could have a perfect day for an Easter Egg hunt, this is it. Sunny, light wind with a high near 70. There was fog until about 8:30 this morning. The water temperature is back up to just under 56 and the lake is still clearing. We are to get some rain tomorrow with cooler temperatures and then very nice normal weather to follow. Normal high is 65. Lake level has dropped a bit but has been stable for several days. Blackburns is full now but has some openings for next week. Come on down 1-800-635-0526. We will not charge you too much for boat rentals , cabins  and most boat stalls are free. Cabins start at $53/day and all are individual units with no duplexes and all have covered porches. Not much has changed as far as fishing goes but will when the water temperature finally warms up. There is still a morning and night bite for stripers but the full moon in March is over now and the night bite will diminish and the top water bite will begin. Big fish are being brought in everyday. Some could be yours. It is hard to believe next Friday is April and they celebrate a holiday in my honor. We have a lot of children anxiously awaiting the 3:pm hunt. Blackburns is the family place.

Mike Soltysiac is not to be outdone by the young lads. Nice fish Mike.Image title
