It is to get only 52 here today with much warmer weather scheduled for tomorrow. The lake is clearing again, still at 56 degrees and level is at 554.02 and dropping a little with one generator running continously for the last 24-hours. The wind is from the north now but is to shift to the south tomorrow. Brian Deardoff went out yesterday and reports catching several big Kentucky bass on a stick bait near Blackburns creek. Bink caught several walleye and Tom and Marlene Stanton from Minnesota caught several open water fish. Billy Springer caught several nice stripers and hybrids trolling unbrellas. Overall it was a good day for fishing. There is a lot of comradery among our guests and they help each other catch fish. We like that. They come back year after year and make friends.  If you are staying at a place where you are nearly the only customer you are paying too much. Stop by Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental before you leave. We will be glad to have you check us out. It is busy here and we will not charge you too much for cabins and boat rentals and boat stalls are free. You cannot beat that. Wednesday is full moon and night fishing for stripers should be at it's peak. Fish are full of eggs.
