Another Beautiful day here on Norfork Lake. Sunny, high 60's with light wind. The fish were biting yesterday. Steve Deardoff reports catching some very large smallmouth bass, Mike and Wendell Buell caught some very large crappie on Blackburns Brush Piles and walleye, stripers and giant Hybrids fishing with Bink, and Scuba Steve caught some big black bass. I hope the Buells come back. They are very nice fellows. Wiggle warts for bass, stick baits for walleye, stripers and hybrids. Crappie on minnows, jigs and small grubs. Lake level is stable with one generator running most of the time. Surface temperature is just above 56.  Those bass are still biting on windy days. Not a lot of stripers on the night bite yet but some very large hybrids. Full moon is 23rd. Best chance for big fish after dark. Those hybrids are a mainstay when the stripers get scarce. I hope they do not quit stocking them. 1-800-635-0526 for a reservation. Join the fun.
