Norfork Lake Fishing Report By Scuba Steve From Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental On Norfork Lake Arkansas Near Mountain Home In the Ozark Mountains

it is 60+ degrees today and very nice. The lake level has dropped about two inches in the last 24 hours and is just over 571 with continuous generation. They are to supplement the generator discharge with partial gate openings starting the 20th of January and the river trout should get plenty of continuous flow and there will be no wading the rivers for a few months.   Barring any heavy rains that should start a steady lake level lowering. The lake is an off-brown all over and is not clearing very well. I caught just a few fish yesterday but nothing to brag about. It was nice out though and was very confortable. I will go out again when the wind lays about 4-PM. You are susposed to be able to make comments on the blog again now but I have not tried it out. Deposits are due January 15th to confirm reservations for cabins and boats of your choice. You can call Debbie at 1-800-635-0526 or send a check to Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental 734 County Road 989 Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653. Be glad to have you. More improvements are continuing everyday and you will like what you see when you get here.
