We received three inches of rain in the last 24-hours and it was badly needed. It almost all sunk in as it was slow and steady with no wind. There were storm watches but none materialized. The lake has risen about two inches to 553.87 with no generation since last evening. Fishing is better when the lake is rising slowly rather than dropping or rising quickly. I like this lake level. I will get back out there after the work is done here at the resort. The dock is freshly painted and the floor stained and it looks great but boat stalls are still free.
