The lake level is 568.26 and has risen 2-inches in the last 24-hours with one generator running from noon to 8-PM. The White River at Newport is 19.54 feet and has dropped but has been stable for a couple of days. Norfork rises when they quit generating and stays stable when they run. We have not crested yet and there is no effort to drop the lake. We received 1/2 inch of rain on Friday with more scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. They are running Bull Shoals constantly and it remains at a normal level while Norfork is flooded out. I will bring this up to the President the next time he calls me. Maybe he can abolish the Corps of Engineers. Blackburns Creek greened up again yesterday after being fairly clear and is a good color for fishing. The best bet now is to find shad in 35-feet of water and drop a spoon for White Bass and Black Bass. A few Stripers are being caught shallow in the late evening on the Stick Bait and this should get better. After my dive today I will try and find some crappie. The weather is beautiful and sunny with light winds. Come on down and visit. Blackburns has the best prices and the best place and is closest to Mountain Home, dining and shopping.
