Scuba Steve diving in Shoal Creek. Not much scuba time left for this season. 
The lake level is 568.10 and has risen 17-feet in less than a week and 3-inches in the last 24-hours with no generation since 9:PM last evening. It is rising about 1/2 inch per hour with no generation and stable when they run one generator. The White River at Newport is 21.11 feet and dropping but still high. It must be against the rules to turn on both Norfork generators at at the dame time but they are running Bull Shoals constantly in order to keep it at a normal level while allowing Norfork to flood out and continue to rise. Go figure. The surface water temperature is 68-degrees and is slightly stained brown with some debris in Blackburns area and clearing as you go south. It is clear with no debris in Diamond Bay, Shoal Creek, Black Snag and by the dam. Bink reports catching a lot of Black Bass and White bass in Diamond Bay on his spoon on shad in 35-40 ft. of water. yesterday morning. They were not biting on the grub.
