Norfork Lake Arkansas near Mountain Home in the Ozarks Mountains Region Fishing report and Lake Condition by Scuba Steve from Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental.

Carl Scott from Texas with a nice one. He is a good fisherman. Image title

The lake level is 553.46 and is down 2-inches in the last 24-hours with 1-1/4 generator running for about 13-hours from 11 AM to 11 PM. They are scheduled to start today at 1 PM for 8-hours. The White River is 5.25 feet and still very low. The surface water temperature is 73-degrees and the clarity has diminished on the main lake but cleared a bit in the creeks. Beautiful weather continues and is to stay for several more days with bright sunshine and light winds. Fishing is picking up for Crappie and Bass. I am seeing a few Stripers on main lake brush in 22-ft. of water but not catching any. Bluegill are biting off docks on crickets. Some Walleye are on brush in 20-25 ft. of water. Spoons and live bait are the best. There is some sporatic top-water but you cannot count on it and they are mostly Bass and White Bass. It looks to be good fishing when the water cools but I like the warm sunshine on me in the peace and quiet and do not want it to go away. The lake is in excellent condition and at a good level. There are a few boats out there during the week but not many. There are several more on weekends but mostly on the main lake. Most of the jet skis and wake boats are gone. It is time to get them winterized. It is a perfect time to visit Norfork Lake and Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental.
