The lake level is 561.66 and has risen 5-1/2 feet since the rain started yesterday. We reveived 2-inches here at Blackburns but there was more up north in the Norfork River watershed. They started up one generator at 8:AM this morning but the lake is still rising at a rate of 1-1/4 inch/hour. The creeks have quit running but quite a bit of water is still coming downstream from Missouri. The water is brown out to the mouth of Blackburns Creek where it goes into the main lake. It could be worse and I am just thankful that we did not receive any severe weather. I could not feel any worse for our friends in Mississippi. The White River at Newport is 25.8 feet and minor flood stage is 26-feet. The sun is shining and there is not much chance of a rain for a week.
