The lake level is 570.51 and has dropped 4-inches in the last 24-hours with both generators running continuously. The surface water temperature is 87 degrees and the water remains clear. Fishing is the best in the morning with stripers and hybrids being the best bite early in 50-60 ft.of water on the spoon at various depths. Some walleye are with them and some are still on main lake points in 20-ft. of water. Crappie are biting off docks on minnows in th shade as are bluegill. Some catfish are also hitting live bluegills in front of the buckbrush. Smallmouth bass are biting creature baits in the evening around any wood on flats. Not much has changed since yesterday. Blackburns has a cabin opening up today so give Debbie a call at 870-492-5115 and get it before it fills and not pay too much. It comes with a free stall for your boat and you can swim in our big pool with slide to beat the heat. All cabins are individual with no duplexes and have shady covered porches.
