The lake level is 572.91 and has dropped 1/3 inch in the last 24-hours with 4-hours of both generators running and about 6-hours of one. The White River at Newport is at 14.38 feet and staying about the same. Bull Shoals is 26 feet above power pool, Norfork is 19-ft. above power pool , Beaver lake is 7-ft. above power pool and Table Rick is 4-1/2 feet above and they are dropping Table Rock the quickest trying to get it back to normal as quickly as possible at the expense of Bull Shoals and Norfork. The 4-lake system is 65% full. The surface water temperature is 77 degrees and warming. It will really warm next week with ambient temperatures to get into the mid 90's with a high pressure front moving in. We could get storms tomorrow night but have missed everything so far and it is still dry. There was a top-water bite this morning about 5:30 AM for a few minutes and some stripers were caught in the 5-6 pound range  They were in about 35-ft. of water when they surfaced on shad. This does not happen everyday now but is fun when it does. Some Black Bass are with them. More catfish are being caught on the spoon than on live bait in the creeks and crappie are on shallow brush back in the creeks in 25-ft. of water.
