Norfork Lake 2021 Bass Cat tournament 2nd Day Results and weather by Scuba Steve from Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental (click here for comments)

The second day for Bass Cat is in the books. B. Chapman and D. Wooter lead the pack with 162.65 inches total for two days but that does nothing but qualify them for the fish-off tomorrow. A total of only 96-inches made the cut of 25. They all start equal tomorrow and that does not seem fair to me but that is the way it is. Rules are rules.  688 total fish have been caught so far  A storm hit about 3:45 Pm and we got 2.3 inches of rain here at Blackburns with hail in just a few minutes. The creeks are running hard and the backs will be brown by tomorrow for fishing. Should not affect the main lake. More weather possible tomorrow and I hope it holds off until the tournament is over. We did not get much wind here but other places did. Scuba Steve's blog is the place to go for up to date information. We try and stay on top of things.I caught several nice fish before the storm and put them in Tom Kelly's trophy pond. It is ready for fall fishing. I still am not catching any big largemouth bass.
