Tom Kelly caught and released some nice ones fishing Float Creek yesterday on the bank. He is a good fisherman.
The lake level is 568.14 and is rising slowly with very little generation and several days of no rain. It came up just a little more than an inch yesterday. More rain is expected for the next three days but not a lot. It has been warm and the lake surface temperature is rising and more and more people are swimming with 73-degree water. The lake remains clear on both main lake and creeks but some debris is washing from shore with the steadily rising water but again not a lot. Just enough to be a nuisance and not big. Everything is fine and we are in a lot better shape than most. Fishing remains pretty good with about all species coming in every day. Most people are catching fish. Spring has gone by quickly and summer is here this weekend already at least unofficially. I am not a big fan of holiday weekends but i guess people have to get out when they have time off. The lake just goes from nice and quiet to crazy overnight but we are ready here at Blackburns and wish everyone the best. The lake is here for us all and we are fortunate to be able to live here.
