More family fun at Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental. Nice people.
The lake level is 553.91 and has dropped two inches in the last 24-hours. They have cut back on generation as they approach the seasonal conservation pool of 553.75. They always do. The wind finally quit after blowing like a hurricane all day. People were trying hard to have fun out there but it was difficult. Much fall foliage blew off the trees. It is cloudy with a chance of rain tonight with highs in the high 60's for a few days. We need rain badly. The normal high is 71 and low is 49. The surface water temperature dropped just below 70 yesterday and it was clearing but it got stirred up a bit on the dirt and clay banks. We will see what today brings. The bass are biting pretty well.
