Norfork Lake fishing and lake conditions by Scuba Steve from Blackburns Resort and Boat rental (click here for comments)

All of these fish were caught on The Bink's Spoon yesterday and today in 23-ft. of water on main lake points.Image titleImage titleImage titleImage title

The lake level is 568.84 and is dropping a little over 2-inches in 24-hours with generation about 2/3s of the time.  They are holding the twin lakes up as long as they can while reducing the White River at Newport to 11+ feet for no reason. The lake is stained and you can see your lure down about three feet. Bink, James Soltysiac, Mike Eakle and Tom Kelly are catching some nice fish everyday. They are using the Bink's Jigging Spoon on Mainlake points in 23-feet of water and catching crappie, walleye and bass in the mornings early. Over 1/2 of the walleye are short but some nice ones are also being caught.  Tom is also using the split tailed worm for bass. The lake continues to be busy and the very warm summer conditions continue amd the ;ale surface temperature is back up past the mid 80's. Things are looking good here at Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental. Come on down and check us out and we will not charge you too much.
