Norfork Lake fishing and lake conditions by Scuba Steve from Blackburns Resort and Boat rental (click here for comments)

We just received about 1.3 inches of rain in just a few minutes and the creeks are running hard and the lake is rising. It has lightened up a little and the rain has slowed way down. This will brown up the creeks considerably but should not affect the main lake much. We will see. I will check things out in a few minutes. It is time to let some water out boys.  The rain really came down there for a while but not much wind. Typical May weather wilh a couple of cold fronts moving through a week.It just depends on where they meet the high pressure where the severe weather hits. We have been very fortunate so far. Maybe I can catch a flathead and a couple crappie.
