The lake level is 557.40 and has dropped 4-inches in the last 24-hours with both generators running continuously and one spillway gate open 2-feet. The lake is at a good level but needs to be at 548 going into the spring rains. It looks like the water in this area is clearing a bit but it could have just been the bright sunshine. Fishing slowed with the new high pressure as it always does but will get better through the next low pressure until the next cold front or high pressure. It looks like a cold front will be here later next week. People caught some good fish though but not nearly as many. Tom Kelly, Mike Eakle, James Soltysiac, John Bornhop and myselt put in brush piles yesterday for our other customers and we have some good ones. We fished before and after. It was a beautiful day and is better today. We were mostly spoon fishing brush. Wish you could have been here. February is now here and Debbie is getting a lot of phone calls for reservations. Give her a call to get the cabin and boat of your choice. It looks to be a good year for fishing and boating and we will not charge you too much and your first regular sized boat stall is free. A lot of improvements have been added so far. Come on down and check us out. There are a lot of big crappie in this lake.
