The lake level is 554.10 and has dropped about 1-inch in the last 24-hours. They are not letting much out now. The water surface temperature is 52 degrees and is a little off-color but you can see your lure down about 5-feet. One day it is clear and the next stained. It varies with the level drop and the degree of sunshine. It was cool and damp when I went out with a mist of rain and light wind. The fog had moved in before I returned. The fish were biting very good and I caught about 20-keeper fish total. Both bass and crappie. A few of the crappie were very large. Some were caught on a slip float and minnow, some casting the grub and some on the Bink 1/8th ounce spoon. They were about 12-feet down over brush. The bass were deeper, just outside brush in 35-ft. of water. I caught fish until almost dark and then they quit like turning off a light switch. It was the best they have been for several days. I saw no other boats all the time I was out. I like that. Peace and quiet. Starting tomorrow the weather is to get better and better until the weekend when the temperature is to get in the high 50's with abundant sunshine. Come on down. We will not charge you too much and your first boat stall is free. There are a lot of fish in Norfork Lake and you cannot walk on our water or drill holes in it.
