The lake level is 555.31 and the surface temperature is 66 degrees. The weather is perfect and the fish are biting on Blackburns brush piles which are at a very good level now. Use spoons, grub and minnow and slip floats with minnows. Crappie, bass and bluegill are biting those and catfish are biting jugs with shiners. Everything is biting the 1/4 ounce Bink's spoons. Mike eakle caught two fish on one jug yesterday. It is to stay in the 60's for a while with chances of rain later this week. Fish until it rains you out. This is a good time of year and the lake is in excellent condition. Blackburns is open all year. Come on down. We will not charge you too much.
