The lake level is 563.14 and has dropped 2-1/2 inches in the last 24-hours. The lake is in excellent condition for fishing and boating and the surface temperature is 87 degrees. It is summertime here on Norfork lake. Blackburns was very busy here last week with nearly all the cabins full and several boats rented. People are taking advantage of our low prices on both cabins and boat rentals. Our big pool with slide was very busy. You can get a one bedroom cabin for only $59/day with a free boat stall. People were fishing off the dock, out of bass boats and off fishing pontoons. They were catching bass, crappie and walleye on brush piles, bluegill and catfish off the dock and catfish on trotlines and jugs. Walleye are moving to the flats by the Island. Spoons, brim and crickets are all working well. I put several nice fish in Tom Kelly's trophy pond. Jeff Barber was here from pocahontas, Arkansas and was fishing with a spoon and also live bait with jugs and trotlines. The Bornhop boys had fun and their dad helped with with several big jobs. They brought several friends and it was a pleasure to meet them. Blackburns is the family fun and fishing place and we will not charge you too much. We have many repeat customes and appreciate them. Very much.
