The lake level is 568.11 and is dropping about 2-inches a day with generation about 1/2 the time. They are keeping the White River at Newport at 12-feet no matter what. We seem to be in a pattern of hot and sunny weather until the heat of the day and then getting rain. It gets black to the west and hits about 3-PM. The grass is greening up again as we were very dry. We are to get rain for the next few days and then get hot again by next week. The mornings are very pleasant for fishing and boating and again in the late afternoon after the rain when it clears back up. The lake in general is in good condition and is a bit stained with surface temperature in the mid to higher 80's and perfect for swimming. Come on down. We will not charge you too much.
