Blackburns is the family fun place. 
The lake level is 570.67 and has dropped about 2-inches in the lst 24-hours with generation about 1/2 the time. They are hanging on to that 12-ft. level at Newport like a life raft in a flood. I sure would like to know how that level was determined. There is abosutely no reason for it. The minor flood level is 26 feet. This needs to be reviewed and changed. The weather has been beautiful and is to continue so. This is a perfect time for a vacation for swimming, boating and just relaxing here at Blackburns. The lake is in excellent condition and the price is right. The grass is green, the dock is big, the pool is sparkling and Bink is on the fish. Come on down. We will not charge you too much.
