Norfork Lake fishing and lake conditions by Scuba Steve from Blackburns Resort and Boat rental (click here for comments)

Caught last night fishing with Bink.Image title

The lake level is 554.60 and is exactly what it was 24-hours ago with one generator running continuously. The lake surface temperature is in the high 50's and rising. The lake is clearing and you can see your lure down about 6-feet on the main lake. The night bite is still on for stripers, male crappie are back in pigeon, middle pigeon, east pigeon and briar creeks staging in 20-ft. of water getting ready to make a nest, bass are moving in the creeks under docks getting ready to do the same thing, bluegill have moved in under the docks with smaller crappie with them,  channel cats are part way back in the creeks at night.  Things are starting to change rapidly now. I saw no top water action yesterday morning but some shad were surfacing late last night in the creeks. Bass dishing is still pretty good with smallmouth coming on strong.  This is a fun time of year and the weather is warm. Come on down. We will not charge you too much and your first boat stall is free.
