Norfork Lake fishing and lake conditions by Scuba Steve from Blackburns Resort and Boat rental (click here for comments)

The lake level is 562.40 and has dropped 7-inches in the last 24-hours. A couple more days of them running both generators and 6- flood gates open one foot will put us in pretty good shape. I would like it to be 552. If the current conditions continue the level will fall faster as the bowl gets less full. We are to get a little snow tomorrow with cold weather and start to warm up again. It is usually good by March 15th. I am going out fishing now and have reports of a lot of fish near the Pigeon Creek bridge. They are probably white bass but I will check it out anyway. Surface temperature is still 47 on the main lake and the water is clearing. Bass like to bite right after a snow. Me and my grub will be out there.
