Under the dock they go.
The lake level is 553.50 and rising again with no generation for 24-hours. The White River at Newport is 8-feet so they could be running a lot more if they wanted too. They even quit generating Table Rock but I is already several feet below normal. We need different lake management. Hold and hope will not work. More rain is on the way. The lake was like glass for most of the day yesterday and the fish were biting pretty good. Several crappie were caught and released under Blackburns dock. Several more good fishermen are coming in today and we will see what that brings. I am encouraging everyone to release most fish and kill only white bass. We need to quit killing these small stripers and the daily limit needs to be lowered to two. 5-10 lb. stripers are not big fish and do not deserve a picture.
