The lake level is 553.8 and has risen 1/2 inch in the last 24-hours. They slowed generation down quite a bit and are generating at Table Rock lake continuously to protect Branson and give them a surge capacity for the spring rains. Norfork is very low on the priority list as it is not connected to the chain of lakes. It was a beautiful day yesterday with light winds, sunshine and temperature in the high 50's. John Bornhop caught some very nice crappie and so did Scuba Steve. I also caught some keeper bass on the main lake river channels near the bank in about 8-feet of water. Surface temperature remains in the low 50's in the main lake and cooler in the creeks. It is foggy most mornings. The lake in general is in excellent condition and fishing is just fair with people chasing the open water fish are having to work hard to find feeding fish except for white bass and I do not count them. When shad are found there are often several species of fish around them.  I am fishing brush piles in 25-ft. of water with the spoon, slip float and grub, depending on the wind.
