The lake level is 553.84 and has risen 3-1/2 inches in the last 24-hours. We received over 2-inches of rain in the last three day peroid ending Friday.  They did start generating a few minutes ago after several days of nothing. It was a beautiful day with sunny skies, light winds, temperature in the 50's and the fish were biting.  Bink was catching them in 60-ft. of water on his spoon and I was catching them shallow in the evening. They seem to come up to about 6-feet down right at sunset without much regard to the water overall depth. The main lake is getting clearer especially near the bank . Surface temperature is in the very low 50's in the main lake and much cooler in the shallow creeks. The lake overall is in excellent condition. Several species of fish are schooled together on shad in the early morning. White bass are easily caught but some nice bass are with them. I am getting some medium sized bass and some very large crappie and bluegill near the bank on the grub. Hope this nice weather holds.
