The Stanton's caught walleye and hybrids Saturday and Striper Sunday. All were in 65-feet of water.
The lake level is 551.25 and stable with very little generation. The surface temperature was 79 when I went out after the rain. We received 1/2 inch and everything greened up again. It is to be warm for a couple of days and then cool with highs in the 60's. Fall foliage is not changing much yet. I stayed out for 1 hour and got three crappie and one bluegill. Not very good. Crappie fishing has slowed for me and so has the bass and walleye. I will keep trying. Many fish are still in deep water and lethargic and others are less than 40-ft. on shad and scattered. Crappie and bass are roaming and if you happen to find a school you catch them. Walleye are hybrids are together.
