The lake level is 551.81 and is dropping just a bit with about 5-hours of generation in the afternoons. The water temperature was 86 degrees and rising in Blackburns Creek with the warm weather. It is getting dry again but we are to get some rain this weekend. I went diving yesterday and the visibility has deteriorated with the temperature increase. I could barely see 4-feet where the fish were and that is 27-30 feet. I do not recommend a diving trip at this time if you are spearfishing. I did get my limit of walleye and one crappie but it was not much fun with the eye strain. The fish were on main lake points on brush and chunk rocks just past the first drop-off. You could see a little down to 20-feet but not many fish there. Just a few bass. Bink took out two different groups from Blackburns this week and caught some good walleye and stripers deep. Some were as deep as 80-feet. He books about 100 trips out of Blackburns every year. We are very busy here with people taking advantage of our winter rates and low cost boat rentals. Come on down.  We will not charge you too much. A free boat stall comes with your cabin.
