Norfork Lake fishing and lake conditions by Scuba Steve from Blackburns Resort and Boat rental (click here for comments)

The lake level is 552.22 and is stable with a very little bit of generation. I had a surface temperature of 88 degrees yesterday. The lake seems to be clearing just a bit and it needs to for diving. Pole fishing is just fine. The lake is very busy now and should clear out by Monday afternoon and then the summer holidays are over and the fishing season begins. Blackburns also drops their rates and you can get a one bedroom cabin for $59/day with others up to 4-bedrooms priced accordinly. All cabins have covered porches and are individual with no duplexes.  Your first boat stall is free and so are trolling motors on pontoons. Come on down. We will not charge you too much. September fishing gets better and better as the month goes on. Bink caught several good fish this morning.
