The lake level is 555.30 and has dropped 1-1/2 inches in the last 24-hours with a little more generation. It got hotter sooner than they predicted and is past the mid 90's. Definitely not tent camping weather. At this time it is definitely better to have covered porches on your cabins, pools, along with the lake to swim in. Fishing and diving conditions are the same except that some top water fish were coming up early on the flats just west of Mallard point early yesterday out in the middle. Most were bass. Spooks were working but spitin image was working better and holding them on. Boating and swimming conditions are perfect and the lake is in excellent overall condition and at a very good level. Tom and Marlene Stanton caught some good red meat fish yesterday. They always do. They like trolling that umbrella and are good at it. Come on down. we will not charge you too much.
