Caught fishing with Bink's Guide Service.
The lake level is 558.91 and still dropping with generation most of the time. We are at a good level for Blackburns resort dock where you can drive or walk 1/3 mile to the dock, park, launch your boat, step on the dock and park your trailer on the way back and be on the lake in minutes. Very handy. No need to go elsewhere to launch. I went diving yesterday morning and found the fish in the same area. The visibility is ok at the thermocline which is just over 20-feet. Many walleye and big bass are just under that in the cold water. It is as good of conditions as I have seen in several years. The water is pretty clear from the surface to about 19-feet. I was able to pick and choose the two walleye I got and they were nice ones. There are also several very large red-eared blugill in the brush and some good bass just below them. I saw no catfish or crappie but was not looking for them. The striper fishermen are doing quite well near Cranfield Island in 50-60 feet of water suspended. Some good ones are being caught. Especially in early morning. We are very busy here at Blackburns with people taking advantage of the low cabin price, low boat rental prices and free boat stalls. If you are staying at a place were you are nearly the only customer, you are paying too much. We will not charge you too much. Check us out.
