The lake level is 560.17 and has dropped 5-inches in the last 24-hours with continuous generation. You can drive to Blackburns dock parking and step on the dock and launch right by it. No need to go to a remote launching area.  Boating and swimming conditions are excellent with a surface water temperature of 86 degrees. The water is pretty clear down to just above the thermocline. Early morning fishing is good with walleye, bass and red meat fish all biting well. There are a lot of fish out there but you have to get out there early and again in the evening until after sunset. A lot of fish are at 20-feet on brush and others suspended at 50-ft.  There are still some floating logs out there so after dark boating is not recommended by me. Scuba diving is pretty good with people having  good success with walleye and just a few crappie. No reports on catfish. It is hot and summer is in full swing even though not by the calendar yet. Blackburns has the best prices and will not charge you too much. Come on down. 1/2 mile to dive shop. 1-1/2 mile to dollar general. 3-miles to walmart. 1-mile to Fred's restaurant. Who could ask for more? There is also pizza delivery here.
