Caught fishing wirh Bink
The lake level is 562.48 and dropping about 3-1/2 inches a day. Surface temperature is about 86 and the lake is in overall good condition. Walleye and bass continue to bite well and are around the thermocline in cover at 19-23 feet. The spoon is working the best. Bink is catching a lot of fish and so is Scuba Steve. The brush piles are paying off and about two more feet of level drop and it will get better as well as the lake access and parking. 560 seems to be the magic number. There are still some big logs floating around out there and I do not advise being out on the lake after dark. You will tear something up. We are getting dry again and need some rain but things are still green. Water clarity is normal for this time of year and a normal level whatever that is. Should be a good summer.
