A lot of fish were caught today at Blackburns Resort and Boat Rental. We are nearly full and people are taking advantage of the low cabin rates, boat costs and free boat stall. It is amusing to see people paying $30-50/ day too much on an inferior cabin with no covered porch and hauling gas to their boat to save money. You can almost cover all of your travel costs just by staying here regardless of gas prices. Blackburns is in the middle of the best walleye and crappie fishing, let alone bass. That is why we are full and others are nearly empty. Some are loyal to their resort owners even if their money is going is going to Jamaica vacations, new cars, new trucks, new personal boats. All of our profits go to improvements. Just check us out. Lake level is 564.18 and still rising but they are generating now. Thank you. Please quit hold and hope and let as much water out as possible. Fishing is getting better every day. Lake looks good. Stop the rise.
